Our Story
From Sweden to Southern Chile.
In 1971 J. Christer Ericsson, a Swedish sea captain, decided to found a company guided by a simple principle: companies should outlive their founders.
That vision grew into JCE, an international holding company that invests in energy, technology, industry, and forestry, with a presence in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. In 1988, that same vision crossed the ocean and took root in southern Chile.

Core Values
Local Work, Local Industry
We create local jobs and build local industry by putting relationships at the center. In Chile, work is close, human, and personal. Strong relationships are the foundation of how we operate, grow, and build trust with our teams and communities.
Industry grows when people know each other, work side by side, and feel part of something local and real.
Core Values
Conscious Industry
We build industry with awareness of where we are. This means respecting territory, nature, and local traditions while developing a contemporary and responsible industry.
Conscious industry goes beyond sustainability as a concept. It is intention, responsibility, and respect present in every decision we make.
Core Values
Care That Lasts
We care for people and think long term. This is reflected in the stability of our teams and the long-lasting relationships we build.People stay because they feel valued, respected, and supported over time. Long-term commitment is part of how we care, work, and grow together.
